Matt Bourque began painting murals in 1996. His first mural covers a span of twelve feet by one hundred thirty feet depicting the process of wine making. It can be seen in Rancho Cucamonga at the historic Joseph Filippi Winery.

He graduated from Sonoma State University in 2000 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts with distinction. After graduating, Matt created his own business, The Muralist. His work can be seen in homes, businesses, and communities across California from Temecula to Napa Valley and even Canada.

Working with people has been an integral part of Matt’s work. It is important to him to balance the desires of the client with his expertise in a way that is honest, positive, and exciting.
